Spotify- Creating Diverse Wireframes

This week we moved towards determining our problem statement(s) and then creating wireframes that would attempt to solve the problems.
Through my research, I found two problems that were of highest priority to be solved in this redesign:
Problem statement 1: Music lovers who also enjoy listening to podcasts need a simple and straightforward way to organize their music playlists and their subscribed podcasts.
Problem statement 2: Podcast listeners need an effective way to search for other podcasts within a theme or subject.

Armed with problem statements in mind, I completed diverse wireframe options in Figma for the home page of the Spotify mobile app. (We were given the option to do them as paper/pencil sketches or in Figma. I chose to do my in Figma.)
Option A:
In one version, users swipe left or right to open a separate panel for each section of Spotify- either the music side or the podcasting side.

Option B:
The second design option separates the two through the use of tabs the user clicks or taps on to change between the two:

I will run A/B testing with a few users this coming week to troubleshoot, identify potential issues, and gauge desirability before using Spotify's design system to create high-fidelity designs.
